Point Pottery studio is located in the home of Merrill and Paul Gisondo, near the Long Island Sound in the Village of Mamaroneck, New York. We produce one-of-a-kind functional ceramics which are wheel-thrown using terra cotta and white earthenware clay.

Our work incorporates a wide range of design motifs, many of which are inspired by Southwestern and local Hudson Valley and Long Island Sound Shore scenery. Each piece is individually hand carved using the sgrafitto technique, in which designs are incised through colored slips applied to the pottery.
